Jersey City, NJ: Office of the Governor reports 12.13.2019 – Governor Murphy hosted an interfaith roundtable in Jersey City with U.S. Senator Bob Menendez, Congressman Bill Pascrell, Congressman Albio Sires, Lieutenant Governor Sheila Oliver, Mayor Steven Fulop, and community leaders from many faiths and communities.

“We are in the most diverse American state, we are in the most diverse county in the most diverse American state, and we are in the most diverse city in that county, in that state, of any city in America, not just in New Jersey ” said Governor Murphy. “An attack on one community in this state is an attack on all of us. In this city and in this state, we rise and fall as one family.
